Uncommon
Solutions for
Common Problems
Foreword
Have you not received relief from your pains? Have you tried different
therapies and treatments and found no relief? As I stated on
the website home page: I became a Chiropractor to help people,
and I enjoy the opportunity to do so. Over many years of practice
I have learned much that has helped my patients. I have also
been frustrated with the poor healthcare many people receive
from practitioners in the physical medicine community. The chapters
of this book cover specific conditions and how to treat them.
These are the conditions that I notice are commonly missed.
Hopefully I can shed light on a condition you are suffering
with.
To those of you who would never go to a chiropractor.
Don’t worry; this book is not about trying to get you
to go to a chiropractor. It is about missed diagnoses and what
to do about them. Many of the treatments I suggest are physical
therapies. In most cases the treatment doesn’t have
anything to do with chiropractic manipulation. Why do I mention
this? Because I know there are a lot of people who will not
go to a chiropractor. I hope the chapter on chiropractic can
shed some light on what it is that a chiropractor does. But
for those of you who would still never visit a chiropractor,
realize this: Being treated by a chiropractor can be split into
two divisions. The first is adjusting the spine and other joints
of the body. The second is physical therapy. Adjusting the patient
is unique to chiropractic. Physical therapy isn’t. You
can get physical therapy from a physical therapist, a physical
medicine doctor or a chiropractor. You can get massage therapy
(which is included in the broader subject of physical therapy)
from a massage therapist. Most of these treatments outlined
in my book are physical therapies and do not require manipulation
at all.
So if you would never get adjusted by a chiropractor,
you can still greatly benefit from the physical therapy treatments
suggested in this book.
Years of experience show that these conditions and diagnoses
are commonly missed. The chapters in the book address two things:
First, they may help you to get the correct diagnosis by
reviewing them with your practitioner. Second, they offer
treatment suggestions that are not found in many offices.
Included are self-tests, ideas for home treatment, and questions
to ask your doctor. Many of these conditions will still require
medical treatment.
Each chapter in the book has a chapter introduction, which
you can read by clicking on the links below. These introductions
will give you a preview of what is covered in the book. Read
through them to see if these are the same conditions that you
are having trouble with.
What does this book have to offer?
I see many patients who are discouraged. They have been to
many practitioners but have not received the relief they need.
During my 15 years of practice I have put together comprehensive
treatment protocols that thoroughly address these conditions.
As a result I feel this book offers directions
and explanations you can’t get anywhere else.
Good luck and good health!
